Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, the country’s top joint military command, said on Saturday that the Strait of Hormuz would be closed to maritime traffic following what it described as US and Israeli violations of the ceasefire agreement, Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency reported.
The command said the closure would be a “first step” in response to what it called breaches of commitments, warning that further measures could follow if the “aggression” continues.
