US stock markets are closed on Friday for an extended weekend in observance of Juneteenth, with trading set to resume on Monday.

US equities ended Thursday higher, posting weekly gains during a week marked by the signing of a preliminary agreement between Washington and Tehran and the Federal Reserve’s decision to leave interest rates unchanged.

Markets in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan are also closed on Friday for the Dragon Boat Festival holiday and will reopen at the start of next week.
