Saudi Cabinet highlights fruitful results of Vision 2030’s 1st 2nd phases, calling for intensifying effort to boost the 3rd phase
Saudi Cabinet highlighted the achievements of Saudi Vision 2030 in its first and second phases during its meeting held today, April 28, in Jeddah, chaired by Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
It noted that the Vision’s targets are approaching their major goals.
It added that 93% of key performance indicators have met their annual targets, driven by structural, economic, financial, and legislative reforms that have enabled sectors, attracted investments, improved quality of life, and strengthened the Kingdom’s global standing and competitiveness.
The Cabinet also stressed the importance of doubling efforts to sustain impact in the third phase of Saudi Vision 2030, accelerating the pace of work, and maintaining continued progress and prosperity.
It approved a number of decisions, most notably the approval of the regulatory rules for contracting with Saudis abroad and the wage scale, as well as the organizational structure and regulatory guide for the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.
It also adopted the final accounts of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO), the General Authority for Competition (GAC), and the Riyadh Infrastructure Projects Center (RIPC) for a previous fiscal year.
In addition, the Cabinet issued the necessary directives regarding a number of items on its agenda, including two annual reports by the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) and the Jouf Strategic Development Office.
