Petro Rabigh appoints Hassan AlYami as President and CEO, replacing Othman Al-Ghamdi.
Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh) said President and CEO Othman Al-Ghamdihas resigned, effective Aug. 31, citing personal reasons. 
Al-Ghamdi will continue to serve as a board member, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.
Petro Rabigh’s board appointed Hassan AlYami as President and CEO, effective Sept. 1, the statement added.
AlYami has more than 30 years of leadership experience in the refining and petrochemical sector. He previously served as Vice President of Saudi Aramco’s Ras Tanura Refinery, in addition to holding vice president positions at several Saudi Aramco subsidiaries in Saudi Arabia and abroad.
Throughout his career, AlYami has led global-scale operations, major capital projects, corporate transformation initiatives, and business development programs.
