OPEC has lowered its global oil demand growth forecast for the current year for the third straight month, while raising its estimates for next year.
The organization, in its monthly report released today, July 13, adjusted its forecast for global oil demand growth this year to 800,000 barrels per day, a slight decline from its estimate issued last month.
However, it raised its estimate for next year’s global oil demand growth to approximately 1.9 million bpd.
