The Joint Maritime Information Center (JMIC), a US-led coalition, announced that American forces will begin enforcing a naval blockade on Iranian ports starting Tuesday.

The move follows US President Donald Trump’s decision earlier today to reinstate the blockade and impose a 20% transit fee on shipments passing through the Strait of Hormuz, escalating regional tensions and raising concerns over maritime security and global energy supplies.
