RIYADH — As the countdown begins for the return of male and female students in public schools across Saudi Arabia to their classrooms for the start of the new academic year on coming Sunday, Aug. 23, the Ministry of Education has officially launched an online transfer service for parents wishing to transfer their children from their current schools to other schools, in accordance with the approved regulations and procedures. The ministry explained that parents must log in to the ministry’s services portal through the unified login system or the National Unified Access system. They can then select the students they wish to transfer, specify their preferred new schools, and complete the transfer request form. The form is subsequently submitted to the relevant department at the Education Administration, which determines the availability of vacancies at the requested schools and officially approves the transfer, without requiring parents to visit the school in person. The service reflects the ministry’s commitment to supporting the social and psychological well-being of students and their parents by facilitating access to schools located close to their residences.
