JAZAN — Patrols of the General Administration of Mujahideen in the Jazan region arrested a Sudanese national for transporting six Ethiopian nationals who violated the Border Security Law. The Sudanese transporter was referred to the Public Prosecution while violators were handed to the competent authority after taking the necessary legal procedures against them. The General Administration of Mujahideen spokesperson emphasized that facilitating the entry of border security violators into Saudi Arabia, transporting or sheltering them, or providing them with any form of assistance carries penalties of up to 15 years in prison, a fine of up to SR1 million, confiscation of the transport vehicle, and publicizing names of violators in the local media at their own expense.The spokesperson stated that the crime is considered a major offense. The public is urged to report violations of residency, labor, and border security regulations by calling 911 in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and 999 or 996 in all other regions.All reports will be treated with strict confidentiality, and reporters will bear no liability.
