National Shipping Company of Saudi Arabia (Bahri) confirmed that its vessel AMZAN was involved in asecurity-related incident in the Red Sea earlier today, Aug. 24. 
In a statement on the X platform, Bahri said that all crew members are safe and accounted for, with no casualties reported. It added that it is coordinating closely with the relevant authorities and maritime stakeholders while closely monitoring developments.
Bahri also emphasized that the safety of its personnel, protection of the marine environment, and safe management of the vessel remain its top priorities. The company said it continues to operate its fleet in accordance with the highest standards of safety and reliability.
According to the tanker fleet data published on Bahri’s website, the AMZAN, a very large crude oil carrier (VLCC), was built in 2014 and has a 60 meters long beam.
