National Agricultural Development Co. (NADEC) signed a binding asset purchase agreement with Pure Harvest Smart Farms on Aug. 23, to acquire the assets of a high-tech greenhouse facility for SAR 85 million.
The company said in a statement to Tadawul that the asset is located within NADEC’s facilities in Haradh. It comprises a high-tech greenhouse facility spanning about six hectares, along with related assets and supporting infrastructure.
The facility uses hydroponic farming and climate-control systems to produce a range of fresh tomato varieties, including large tomatoes and small cherry tomatoes, year-round in a controlled growing environment.
