WASHINGTON — US President Donald Trump said Sunday that his representatives will travel to Islamabad for negotiations.In a post on social media, Trump said his representatives would arrive in Pakistan on Monday evening for talks.He said Washington is offering what he described as a fair and reasonable deal and urged Iran to accept it.Trump warned that if negotiations fail, the United States would target Iran’s infrastructure, including power plants and bridges.He added there would be “no more Mr. Nice Guy” if talks collapse, saying such targets would be struck quickly.Trump also accused Iran of violating the ceasefire agreement after what he said was gunfire in the Strait of Hormuz on Saturday.He claimed the shots were aimed at a French ship and a freighter from the United Kingdom.The US president described Iran’s decision to close the strait as strange, saying the US blockade had already shut the route.Trump claimed Iran was losing about $500 million a day from the closure, while the United States was unaffected.Iran has accused the United States of violating ceasefire terms by imposing a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
