The deadline for the Saudi-listed companies to disclose their H1 2026 financial results ends tomorrow, Aug. 11.
A total of 210 listed companies and real estate investment traded funds (REITs) have announced their financial results, while 35 firms, 16 REITs and two firms with different fiscal years are yet to disclose their financials.
The Capital Market Authority (CMA), starting from 2017, extended the period for announcing interim quarterly financial statements from 15 business days to 30 days, and extended the deadline for annual financial statements from 40 days to three months, data available with Argaam showed.
The decision coincided with the transition to the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the challenges companies could face in this regard.
