Saudi Vitrified Clay Pipes Co. (SVCP) filed, on Aug. 20, for the approval of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) on its capital reduction request, according to a statement to Tadawul.
The capital decrease is subject to the applicable regulatory approvals, including the approval of the company’s extraordinary general assembly, it added.
The company will announce any future development regarding this matter as they become available.
The company’s board of directors decided on Aug. 13 to amend its recommendation to reduce capital from SAR 150 million to SAR 45.43 million, instead of reducing it to SAR 64.72 million, as per Argaam’s data.
The amendment followed a rise in total accumulated losses reported in the preliminary financial results for the period ended June 30, 2026.
