Shoura Council speaker chairs coordination meetings of Arab and Gulf parliament speakers in Cairo

CAIRO — The Saudi Shoura Council Speaker and President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union Sheikh Abdullah Al-Sheikh chaired the coordination meeting of Arab Legislative Council and parliament speakers in Cairo on Sunday. The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Eighth Conference of the Arab Parliament and Speakers of Arab Councils and Parliaments, organized by the Arab Parliament, in cooperation with the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union. During the meeting, participants reviewed the items on the conference agenda and discussed ways to coordinate positions and visions on issues of common interest, aiming to strengthen joint Arab parliamentary action, unify efforts, and advance shared Arab interests.Dr. Al-Sheikh also attended the coordination meeting of Gulf Legislative Council speakers.
