Savola Group said it received a notification on Aug. 9, 2026, from Al Muhaidib Holding, a major shareholder with a 6.36% stake, stating its intention to reorganize and restructure its investment portfolios.
Al Muhaidib would transfer its 4.59 million shares, representing a 1.53% stake in Savola, to the portfolio of Abdulkadir Al Muhaidib Sons Co. (closed joint-stock company), which currently holds 8.322% stake in Savola, according to a statement on Tadawul.
The transfer will increase Abdulkadir Al Muhaidib’s stake in Savola to 9.85%, while Al Muhaidib will no longer be included as a major shareholder.
