RIYADH — Saudi Arabia recorded a 130 percent increase in the volume of financing provided by fintech companies to industrial projects in H1 of 2026, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources revealed. Financing rose to SR541 million in the first half of 2026, compared with SR234 million during the same period in 2025. According to the ministry, key contributions to the increase included conducting executive workshops on available industrial financing tools to present and promote financing products to industrial companies. The ministry also expanded its partnerships with fintech companies to increase the number and volume of industrial financing products. It further enhanced the sharing of industrial data with fintech companies while continuously monitoring the financing needs of industrial companies. The number of fintech companies providing financing to industrial projects also increased from three in H1 2025 to seven in H1 2026, with companies including Tameed, Tamra Capital, Lendo and Sukuk Capital.
