Saudi Fisheries Co. said its board accepted, on Sept. 27, the resignation of Chairman Abdulaziz Al-Humaid.
The resignation, effective from Sept. 27, was due to Al-Humaid’s personal circumstances, the company said in statement to Tadawul.
According to Argaam data, Al-Humaid owns a 10.22% stake in Saudi Fisheries.
Shareholders rejected, on Sept. 27, a board recommendation to increase its capital by 500% from SAR 66.99 million to SAR 401.92 million through a SAR 334.9 million rights issue.
Meanwhile, they approved the election of board members for the next three-year term, starting Oct. 25, 2026. Al-Humaid was among the elected members.
