More than 1.6 million unified electronic contracts were issued to individuals for car rental services in Saudi Arabia during the second quarter of 2026, according to data from the Transport General Authority.

The number of contracts increased by 4% compared with Q2 2025.

The Riyadh region accounted for the largest share of electronic contracts issued to individuals in Q2 2026, representing 33% of the total. Makkah followed with 23%, while the Eastern Province accounted for 14%.

Aseer accounted for 7% of contracts, followed by Madinah (6%), Qassim (5%), Jazan (4%), and Tabuk (3%). The remaining regions collectively accounted for 5%.
