Saud Arabia’s Real Estate Registry (RER) targets 80% of properties across the Kingdom to be registered by 2028, RER’s official spokesperson Yazeed Alyahya told Argaam.

He added that the move is part of a strategic plan to gradually expand registrations across the Kingdom’s regions and cities.

The number of property records issued in the Kingdom exceeded 2 million since the registry began operations in May 2023, while the number of properties announced for registration surpassed 5 million.

The real estate registration is currently underway in 10 regions across the Kingdom, mainly Riyadh, the Eastern Province, Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Tabuk, Hail, Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders and Asir.

Registration is being carried out in successive phases in coordination with the Real Estate General Authority and relevant entities, based on specific criteria designed to ensure the readiness of the targeted real estate areas and the accuracy of the associated data.
