Saudi Arabia has started exporting oil using the East-West pipeline after the link was repaired following drone strikes earlier this month, Bloomberg reported, citing a person with direct knowledge of the matter as saying.
Overseas shipments have now resumed, the person familiar with the operation said.
Saudi Ministry of Energy announced on Sept. 11 that the East-West Pipeline in the Riyadh and Madinah regions came under multiple attacks and was closed as a precaution, Argaam earlier reported.
Meanwhile, Reuters has reported recently, citing three sources briefed on the matter, that Saudi Arabia restarted operations at its East-West Pipeline. Bloomberg also reported that Saudi Aramco notified Asian refiners that loading operations might be resumed from Yanbu shortly.
