RIYADH — The General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) arrested three Ethiopian residents in the Riyadh region for promoting 3 kilograms of hashish and 31,588 tablets subject to medical circulation regulations. The suspects were arrested as part of the directorate’s ongoing anti-drug campaign. According to the GDNC, the necessary legal procedures were completed against the suspects, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution. The GDNC urged citizens and residents to report drug smuggling or trafficking by calling 995, 911 in Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, or 999 in the rest of the Kingdom. The directorate said all reports are handled with complete confidentiality, and those reporting violations bear no legal responsibility.
