Saudi Company for Hardware (SACO) said its board of directors approved on July 20 the non-renewal of CEO contract with Abdel-Salam Bdeir.
The decision will take effect upon the expiry of his contract on Oct. 31, 2026.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company also said the board appointed Sakhr Jamjoom as Managing Director (MD), effective July 21, until the end of the current board’s term on July 19, 2029.
SACO said Jamjoom holds a master’s degree in Engineering Management and a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University, in addition to a Corporate Governance certificate from The Wharton School.
He has more than 32 years of professional experience across multinational companies and various sectors, including consumer goods, oils, manufacturing, and logistics.
The company added that Jamjoom has held executive leadership positions and served on the boards of several leading companies. He also served as MD of Halwani Bros. Co. from 2024 to 2025.
According to data available with Argaam, SACO’s board appointed Abdel-Salam Bdeir as CEO effective Jan. 1, 2023.
