Al RTCC-IC Ictas consortium wins contract to develop private aviation terminal at King Salman International Airport

A consortium comprising Al-Rashid Trading Contracting Co. (RTCC) and Turkey’s IC Ictas won a contract to develop a private aviation terminal at King Salman International Airport Development Co. (KSIADC), valued at around SAR 800 million, MEED reported, citing a familiar source.

The project includes constructing a central courtyard, grand boulevard, parking facilities, access-control checkpoints, logistics and ground-support facilities, internal road networks and landscaping.

It also includes all civil, structural, architectural, and mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) works, along with testing, commissioning and handover activities.

According to Argaam data, Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman launched the master plan for King Salman International Airport in November 2022.

This will be one of the world’s largest airports, spanning nearly 57 square kilometers. The project will incorporate the existing terminals, which will be known as King Khalid terminals, six runways, and 12 square kilometers of supporting facilities, residential and recreational assets, retail outlets and various logistics facilities.
