Ownership stakes held by major shareholders, those owning more than 5%, in Saudi-listed companies on the Tadawul All Shares Index (TASI) saw notable changes during the first nine months of 2026, according to a study by Argaam.
The study recorded 69 instances of increased ownership, including 23 cases of new shareholders entering the market during the period.
The report does not track ownership changes for those with stakes below 5%, as Tadawul does not disclose the identities of shareholders with smaller holdings. It also excludes cases where ownership stakes appeared and later disappeared.
Since 2011, Argaamhas provided a service that tracks the historical ownership changes of all listed companies. The service allows visitors to Argaam’s website to view daily historical changes in major shareholders’ holdings for each listed company by clicking on the company’s name under the “Major Shareholders” section, which Argaamupdates daily.
