Jabal Omar’s board appointed Waleed Al Harthi as CEO, effective Sept. 6, 2026.
Jabal Omar Development Co.’sboard approved on Aug. 10 the resignation of Saleh Alhabdan as CEO, tendered for personal reasons.
The resignation as CEO comes into effect on Sept. 3, 2026, however, Alhabdan will retain hos board membership.
In a statement on Tadawul, the company said the board appointed Waleed Al Harthi as CEO, effective Sept. 6, 2026.
Al Harthi has more than 20 years of executive and professional experience in hospitality, asset and facility management and operations.
He has held several leadership positions, most recently serving as CEO of the Clock Towers (King Abdulaziz Endowment for the Two Holy Mosques), where he led strategic and operational initiatives in Makkah’s hospitality sector, focusing on developing and enhancing services and experiences for pilgrims, as well as improving asset efficiency and related partnerships and initiatives.
Al Harthi holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals.
