Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Competition (GAC) said it issued 24 no-objection decisions on economic concentration applications in August 2026.
GAC said the decisions included the establishment of two joint ventures involving Saudi companies, including a joint venture between Saudi Arabia’s Bahra Advanced Cable Manufacture Co. Ltd. and France’s Dervaux to manufacture equipment for overhead electricity transmission lines.
A joint venture between Saudi Arabia’s HUMAIN and Singapore-based AirTrunk Singapore KSA Nom Holdings Pte. Ltd. was also approved to develop and operate data center infrastructure and provide the capacity required to host high-density computing workloads.
