First Milling Co. (First Mills) launched today, Aug. 2, commercial operations at its new flour mill related to the company’s Qassim branch, after obtaining the final operating license from the General Food Security Authority. 
The company said the new mill has a production capacity of 600 tons per day, or approximately 201,000 tons annually, increasing the total production capacity of its Qassim facility to 1,500 tons per day.
First Mills expects the new flour mill to enhance its overall production capacity, improve operational efficiency, strengthen its ability to meet growing demand, and support its expansion into promising geographic markets.
The company added that the project’s financial impact is expected to start appearing in its financial results from the third quarter of 2026 onward.
