The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources said fintech companies’ lending to industrial projects jumped 130% to SAR 541 million in H1 2026, from SAR 234 million in the year-earlier period.
The ministry said in a statement that the growth was driven by partnerships it formed with several fintech companies in Saudi Arabia, including Tameed Co., Tarmeez Capital, Dinar Holding, Forus Co., Yanal Finance Co., Sukuk Capital, and Lendo Co. The number of fintech firms partnering with the ministry rose to seven in H1 2026, from three in the year-earlier period.
The partnerships aim to address financing challenges faced by industrial enterprises and connect them with flexible, innovative credit solutions. They also target supporting production continuity and operational expansion. Products include working capital financing, invoice financing, and funding for the expansion of industrial projects.
