TOKYO — The death toll from Typhoon Dujuan, which struck eastern Japan earlier this week, rose to nine on Wednesday as authorities continued searching for four people who remain missing.Authorities discovered the body of a woman in Kanagawa prefecture and recovered a man from a submerged vehicle in Chiba prefecture, east of Tokyo, Kyodo News Agency reported, citing local authorities.Of the nine confirmed deaths, six were recorded in Chiba and three in Kanagawa.Search operations are continuing for four people who remain unaccounted for following the typhoon.Dujuan caused widespread damage, particularly in Chiba, which had already been hit by heavy rainfall and flooding in August and early September.
