Al-Jouf Agricultural Development Co. inaugurated an advanced laboratory for potato seed production, with an investment of approximately SAR 20 million, in partnership with South Korea’s Global Green.
The company also inaugurated its expanded frozen potato production plant in the presence of Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al Jouf Region. The project involved an investment of approximately SAR 80 million.
The plant will increase production capacity by 50%, enhancing the company’s ability to meet local market demand, the state-run SPA reported.
According to Argaam data, Al-Jouf Agricultural and Global Green signed a partnership agreement in late May 2025 to localize the production of high-quality potato seeds using the latest global technologies.
