Saudi Housing Minister Majed Al-Hogail is inaugurating municipal and housing projects worth more than SAR1.67 billion in Al Baha Region, including infrastructure projects.
Saudi Minister of Municipalities and Housing, Majed Al-Hogail, inaugurated municipal and housing projects and laid the cornerstone for other developments in Al Baha Region on Thursday, July 9, with total investments exceeding SAR 1.67 billion, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. 
The municipal projects included completed developments worth SAR 464 million and new projects valued at SAR 873.5 million, covering roads, sidewalks, street lighting, flood mitigation, parks and municipal facilities.
In the housing sector, Al-Hogail inaugurated projects worth SAR 185.7 million, including the Talal Al Mufarrajah project and developmental housing projects in Baljurashi and Qilwah. He also launched new off-plan residential developments valued at SAR 150 million to help boost housing supply and homeownership.
The minister also inaugurated 16 municipal investment projects expected to generate SAR 284 million in revenue and handed over 19 housing units to beneficiaries of developmental housing programs.
During the visit, Al-Hogail toured several tourism and investment projects, including the Raghadan Tourist Resort – Seera, Edge by Rotana, Al Baha Plaza, and other hospitality developments.
