The Saudi Cabinet, chaired by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, approved the Cooperatives Law at its meeting held today, Sept. 1, in Jeddah.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the key decisions included approving an agreement with Greece to exempt holders of diplomatic, special, and service passports from visa requirements; authorizing the Minister of Finance and Chairman of the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) to sign a draft agreement with Argentina to avoid double taxation; approving a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Syria covering cooperation in the municipal and housing sectors.
The Cabinet also approved a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and Djibouti’s National Agency for Persons with Disabilities; authorized the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Insurance Authority (IA) to discuss with the Guernsey side an MoU on cooperation in training and developing competencies; and approved an MoU between the King Fahd National Library and the National Library of Poland.
