RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s welcome for the agreement reached between the Syrian government and the “Syrian Democratic Forces” (SDF), saying it would contribute to achieving security and stability in Syria and for its people. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Ministry reaffirmed the Kingdom’s support for the steps taken by the Syrian government to fulfill the aspirations of the Syrian people and advance the country’s path toward unity and development. The Kingdom also expressed its wishes for Syria and its people to enjoy security, peace, and prosperity.
