Lucid Group Inc. announced that AMP-2, its factory in Saudi Arabia, is transitioning from construction to industrialization.
Manufacturing systems across stamping, body, paint and final assembly are being installed and commissioned in preparation for production trials, it added in a statement.
The group also indicated that its factory in Saudi Arabia is one of four strategic projects it has given top priority in terms in resource and capital allocation, alongside its Robotaxi and Midsize programs, as well as its cash flow improvement plan.
Silvio Napoli, CEO of Lucid, said that the AMP-2 manufacturing facility stands for one of the group’s core priorities, within its plan to build a growth base for the coming period.
