Theeb Rent a Car Co.’s board of directors approved establishing a limited liability subsidiary in Bahrain, as part of the company’s strategy to expand across regional markets and strengthen its operations outside Saudi Arabia. 
In a statement on Tadawul today, Aug. 5, the company said it will own 99% of the new entity, while CEO and board member Naif Al-Theeb will hold the remaining 1%, in line with Bahrain’s regulatory requirements.
The subsidiary will operate in the car rental business in Bahrain, supporting Theeb’s regional expansion strategy, strengthening its presence in target markets, and driving future business growth.
The company added that it will complete the required regulatory procedures with the relevant authorities in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain and will disclose any material developments in due course.
