Riyadh city
Construction permits issued in Saudi Arabia rose 28% year-on-year (YoY) to 7,356 in April 2026, compared to 5,740 permits in April 2025. 
On a monthly basis, the number of permits increased 43% from 5,162 permits issued in March 2026, according to data from the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT).
The increase in April came after three consecutive months of annual declines and marked the highest level in four months.
