Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman

Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said that the Kingdom will remain a reliable energy supplier under all circumstances, adding that current geopolitical conditions have proven this.
“We did not hope to go through these circumstances, but in fact they have given us the opportunity to demonstrate our resilience, capabilities, and worth—not only in terms of energy but also regarding infrastructure,” he added, during a session at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in Russia.
“I strongly believe that we have the confidence to prove that we will remain a reliable source of energy under any circumstances,” he continued.
The minister further emphasized that the stability of energy markets is a global priority at this stage, given the growing challenges facing the sector on both the geopolitical and economic levels.
Saudi Arabia boasts significant shares of various forms of energy, reinforcing its pivotal role in supporting global market stability, said the minister, calling for intensified international efforts to protect the energy sector from any potential threats, noting that this vital sector requires broader and more flexible frameworks for cooperation to address future challenges.
Prince Abdulaziz also noted that Saudi Arabia and Russia will sign 30 agreements in various fields, including education, energy, tourism, and industry.
