US President Donald Trump said he does not seek a meeting with Iran’s supreme leader but would be willing to do so if it helped secure an agreement. 
“I don’t want to meet, but if I did meet, I’d be honored to meet him,” Trump said in the Oval Office. “I’d like to see if we make a deal, but if we make a deal, it’s possible I would meet him.”
Trump added that Washington does not need a deal with Iran to obtain enriched uranium, declining to provide details of any potential settlement and saying the nature of such an agreement would become clear soon.
He noted that key provisions of any agreement would include the immediate reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.
“We’re going to win on paper or we’re going to win militarily, one way or another,” Trump said.
