Foreign institutions were net buyers of nearly SAR 2.33 billion worth of stocks on Tadawul in the week ended April 16, according to recent data issued by Tadawul.

They accounted for 39% of total buys and 31.3% of total sells.

Foreign individual investors sold nearly SAR 94 million worth of stocks during the same week.

Total foreign individual sells reached about SAR 2.9 billion, while individual investors were net sellers of shares worth about SAR 627.7 million. High-net-worth investors and professional investors sold shares worth nearly SAR 1 billion each.

Meanwhile, Saudi institutions were net buyers of shares worth SAR 279.2 million.
