Abedraboh Zidan, Head of Financial Data Statistics Manager at Argaam and Chairman of the Judging Panel, said this year’s edition saw strong competition reflecting the evolution of leadership practices in Saudi companies and executives’ ability to balance strong financial performance with ethical and professional commitments to shareholders.
Selection methodology and criteria
Winners were selected based on a methodology developed by Argaam team, with the judging panel relying on several core criteria, including:
· Leadership sustainability: Serving at least two years in the role to measure long-term impact.
· Financial and operational excellence: Achieving tangible growth in net profit, revenue and return on assets, while considering sector-specific challenges.
· Transparency and communication: Maintaining strong engagement with investors and analysts and adhering to Tadawul disclosure standards.
· Crisis management and innovation: Demonstrating the ability to turn challenges into growth opportunities and execute announced strategies efficiently.
To ensure neutrality, shortlisted candidates were reviewed by external independent partner GCC BDI, which assessed financial and operational performance as well as disclosure standards, particularly in sectors facing significant market challenges.
