Iranian media reported explosions in several areas following the latest US military operations

US Central Command said today, June 11, that its forces began “self-defense strikes” inside Iran, as part of new military operations ordered by President Donald Trump.

In a statement posted on X, CENTCOM said the operations targeted “several sites” inside Iran, adding that the strikes came in response to what it described as “continued and unjustified aggression” by Iran.

The US military is carrying out strikes inside Iran for the second consecutive night, after Trump warned Tehran of a “very strong attack” over the failure to reach a peace agreement.

Tasnim News Agency quoted an Iranian military source as saying the armed forces were on full alert, stressing that any US military action would be met with a “strong and painful” response.
