The Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Tawuniya) extraordinary general meeting (EGM) approved a 50% increase in the company’s capital to SAR 2.25 billion.
The increase will be funded through the capitalization of SAR 750 million from retained earnings, with one bonus share issued for every two shares held.

In a separate statement, Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) said the company’s daily price fluctuation limits for today, Sept. 6 were calculated based on a share price of SAR 90.65, and all outstanding orders were canceled.
Edaa will also deposit the bonus shares into shareholders’ portfolios before trading begins on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
