The Company for Cooperative Insurance (Tawuniya) announced the completion of the buyback of its shares allocated to its employee stock incentive plan (ESIP), at a total value of SAR 29.56 million, based on the average repurchase price.
In a statement to Tadawul, the company said it repurchased 212,140 shares at an average repurchase price of SAR 139.35 per share.
The buyback was carried out following the approval of its extraordinary general meeting (EGM).
According to data available on Argaam, Tawuniya’s general assembly approved in June the company’s repurchase of up to 212,100 of its shares to allocate them to employees under ESIP.
The company said the repurchase will be financed using its available cash.
