The National Energy Services Co. (Tarshid) signed today, May 17, an agreement with Al Taiseer Group Talco Industrial Co. (TALCO) to develop a solar energy systems project. 
The agreement aims to study the development of a solar energy project to supply TALCO Industrial’s facilities in Riyadh with a dedicated clean energy generation system, spanning an area of nearly 37,000 square meters (sqm), Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The solar energy systems will be integrated with the existing power infrastructure across four group facilities, with a total system capacity of up to 4.5 megawatts (MW), to enhance operational efficiency and provide a sustainable energy source for the facilities.
Tarshid added that the project seeks to optimize energy consumption and support sustainability efforts through the adoption of clean energy solutions.
