In a statement received by Argaam, the company said the first agreement with SABIL covers the use of a dedicated grain storage facility in Al-Kharj, near its feed milling facilities, along with shared services including quality inspection, inventory management, shipping, and distribution.

The facility will enable Tanmiah to receive the quantities it needs from each shipment to meet production requirements, while ensuring full traceability from receipt through distribution.

Under the second agreement, Tanmiah will cooperate with NGC in purchasing seaborne feed grain shipments and hedging against price fluctuations in global commodity markets.

The arrangement will allow the company to benefit from cost savings associated with bulk shipments, ensure greater consistency in feed quality, and leverage NGC’s extensive international sourcing expertise. Supplied volumes are expected to increase gradually as the partnership develops.

Tanmiah said the agreements with the two Saudi Agricultural and Livestock Investment Co. (SALIC) subsidiaries reflect its commitment to supporting Saudi Arabia’s food security system by building more resilient feed supply chains in line with Saudi Vision 2030. The agreements also highlight SALIC and its subsidiaries’ role in empowering the private sector and strengthening national grain supply chains.
