Takween appointed Marwan Jreige as Acting CEO effective July 1, 2026

Takween Advanced Industries’ board of directors approved, June 14, the resignation submitted by Majed Nofal from his position as CEO, effective June 30.

In a statement to Tadawul, the company said the board also appointed Marwan Jreige as Acting CEO effective July 1.

Jreige enjoys extensive executive experience in financial management and industrial operations across the packaging, manufacturing, and food industries in the Middle East region. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Kaslik, and a Master of Science in Finance from ESA Business School and SDA Bocconi School of Management (2024), the statement added.

He currently serves as the General Manager of Saudi Plastic Packaging Systems Co. (SPPS), a position he has held since 2023. Previously, he occupied several senior leadership and finance positions within regional companies operating in the industrial, packaging, and food sectors.

Jreige has also held various executive positions within Takween, including CEO, CFO, and CEO of operating business units, the company also noted.
