Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) approved SNB Capital’s request to conduct market-making activities for MT30 Index Futures, as well as Single Stock Futures linked to the shares of five listed companies. 
In a statement today, Tadawul said the five companies are Saudi Aramco, stc, Saudi Arabian Mining Co. (Maaden), Saudi National Bank (SNB), and Al Rajhi Bank.
The move is expected to enhance liquidity in the derivatives market and attract traders and hedgers.
The market maker’s obligations include providing bid and ask prices for the contracts covered by the market-making activity and complying with requirements related to market depth, trading volume, and order duration, in accordance with Tadawul’s approved market making regulations and procedures.
Tadawul noted that the approval follows the termination of SNB Capital’s previous market-making agreement.
SNB Capital began market-making activities for MT30 Index Futures and Single Stock Futures on Aug. 19,, in accordance with the market making regulations and procedures.
