In a statement to Tadawul, the company explained that none of its plants is connected to the electricity transmission or distribution network, as they rely on power generated by their own power plants using heavy fuel oil.

The cement producer does not source the water required for production from the National Water Co. (NWC).

SPCC said it would disclose any material financial impact in the future if any of its plants are connected to the electricity transmission or distribution network.

According to Argaamdata, Saudi Energy and NWC recently announced that electricity, water, and wastewater tariffs had been revised for residential, non-residential, and government sectors. The revised tariffs are scheduled to take effect on Jan. 1, 2027.
