Saudia said it is scheduled to receive 12 new aircraft in 2026 under its ongoing fleet expansion and modernization program, following aircraft purchase agreements signed with Airbus over the past two years.
In a statement, the airline said the strategy aims to enhance operational efficiency across its existing network, support expansion into new international destinations, and improve the guest experience in line with efforts to bring the world to the Kingdom.
Saudia added that the arrival of the Airbus A321neo is part of its 2026 aircraft delivery plan, which began with the delivery of its first Airbus A321XLR, with additional modern aircraft set to join the fleet during 2026.
The airline noted that the continued expansion of its fleet supports national strategies for the aviation, tourism, entertainment, and sports sectors, as well as services for Hajj and Umrah pilgrims, by increasing global connectivity, enabling tourism growth, and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s position as a global aviation hub.
