Saudi Top Trading Co. announced the commencement of commercial operations at one of its subsidiaries—the West Coast plant — located within the Petro Rabigh Plastic Tech Park. 
Spanning an area of 50,000 square meters, the facility specializes in the production of woven polypropylene fabrics and plastic yarns used to manufacture woven bags of various sizes, ranging from small sacks to large-one (jumbo) bags, according to a statement to Tadawul.
Additionally, the plant produces high-quality polyethylene terephthalate (PET) pellets—processed via Solid-State Polymerization (SSP)—as well as plastic pallets.
In its current phase, the plant is projected to generate annual sales of approximately SAR 40–50 million, it added.
In Dec. 2022, Saudi Top announced signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Co. (Petro Rabigh), to establish a plant to produce 50,000 tons annually of polymer compounds, rubber, and industrial waxes with a total construction value of about SAR 100 million.
